We’re back and inspired after an exciting two days at the Global Triathlon Conference in London. This was the first global conference run by Triathlon Business International (TBI), the world’s leading organization dedicated to promoting the sport and business of triathlon. The focus of the conference was on the growth and globalization of triathlons, making it even more important to bring together event directors, retailers, manufactures, athletes, coaches and industry executives to further develop and expand the industry.
In support of the inaugural international conference, we partnered with TBI as a sponsor alongside an impressive list of organizations and keynote speakers, including ACTIVE’s very own Sejal Pietrzak, Conference Chairperson and Senior Vice President of ACTIVE Network. Pietrzak spoke at the opening session this past Wednesday and co-hosted a general session on Triathlon Global Data, Growth, and Trends.
This was a memorable conference for us here at ACTIVE – from the early morning ACTIVEX workouts, followed by a variety of general sessions each day, including a discussion about the future of Triathlons. The future looks bright, and we are dedicated to supporting, collaborating, and driving the growth of the triathlon sport globally.
