ActiveUSA.com merges with Leaguelink and Sierra Digital, debuts website and branded product line for participatory sports events for leagues and parks, acquires eteamz.com, breaks into tennis with new tournament director services, changes ActiveUSA.com to ACTIVE.com and secures $21 million in second round of funding.

2001
ACTIVE Network merges with MyTeam.com, joins forces with MercuryGuide to enhance services athletes, partners with Elite.com to bring electronic invitation services to the sports and recreation market, as well as with Pacific SportsPartners for online registration.

2002
ACTIVE.com begins delivering local event updates directly to participants, increasing registrations for events in more than 200 cities.

2003
ACTIVE.com painters with Tennis Technologies, Inc. to provide tournament directors worldwide the benefits of online registration for their players.

2004
ACTIVE.com acquires Do It Sports, Inc. and Class Software Solutions. ACTIVE Network named on 500 List of America’s fastest-growing private businesses.

2005
ACTIVE Network acquires Public Enterprise Group, Vision Sports & Entertainment Partners and Tee Time King, Inc., launches online club fundraising services and partners with Running USA to launch online runner ranking system. ACTIVE Network is named to the Inc. 500 List for the second consecutive year.

2006
ACTIVE Network acquires IronPoint, PreEnroll and LeagueOne. ACTIVENet offers membership, child care and registration features specifically to YMCA and YWCA organizations worldwide. ACTIVE Network is named to the Inc. 500 List for the third consecutive year.

2007
ACTIVE Network acquires LaxPower.com, InfoSpherix and launches “Who Wants to Get Active?” program.

2008
ACTIVE Network acquires iPlayers.net and expands presence in Europe with London office. Deloitte ranks ACTIVE Network among the fastest-growing companies in their annual Technology Fast 500. ACTIVE Network acquires Hy-tek Sports Software. ACTIVE Network acquires RegO.

2009
ACTIVE Network acquires ReserveAmerica, signs a strategic alliance agreement with DigitalTown, unveils ActiveEvents On Demand, and Deloitte ranks ACTIVE Network among the fastest-growing companies in its annual Technology Fast 500 for the fifth consecutive year.

2010
ACTIVE Network strengthens position as leader in the youth sports market with the acquisition of Clubspaces and delivers new lead retrieval solutions with the acquisition of Channel:1.

2011
ACTIVE unveils new iPhone application and forges a strategic alliance with the Professional Convention Management Association.

2012
ACTIVE Network launches a business solutions division, an all-purpose mobile suite for meetings and events, and transforms the swim meet experience with the launch of Meet Mobile. ACTIVE also partners with LeftlandSports.com to launch the largest private sales website in the sporting goods industry, and partners with JustGiving offers an integrated event management and fundraising solution.

2013
ACTIVE Network launches SMART EVENT Cloud, a new RegOnline solution, new iPhone apps for outdoor enthusiasts and releases ACTIVE On-Site. ACTIVE Network is also acquired by Vista Equity Partners.

2014
ACTIVE Network launches 13.one half marathon training app and introduces Swim Manager. ACTIVE also celebrates the opening of its Dallas headquarters and introduces community-focused ACTIVEx Charity Challenge.

2015
ACTIVE Network launches Activity Cloud and ACTIVEWorks On-Site 3.1, ACTIVEKids.com and acquires IPICO Sports. ACTIVE also acquires Virtual Event Bags.

2016
ACTIVE Network launches ACTIVEKids mobile app and introduces its first community-based fitness app, ACTIVEx. ACTIVE also acquires JumpForward and makes a significant investment into its Virtual Event Bags platform.

2017
ACTIVE Network acquires maximum solutions, launches LaxPower mobile app and expands into the private campgrounds market. ACTIVE also forms a strategic alliance with Hotels.com and launches a digital marketing services offering to help customers increase participation in activities and events. ACTIVE acquires TeamPages. ACTIVE is also acquired by Global Payments and announces strategic partnership with Vista Equity Partners.

ACTIVE Network launches ACTIVE Reserve, a one-to-one booking system with broad market appeal. ACTIVE Network launches Payment Manager 2 for local municipal governments. ACTIVE Network launches robotic process automation (RPA) offering for local municipal governments.

Eric Ives, President
Eric joined the ACTIVE Network team from ECSI, another company under the Global Payments vertical markets umbrella. Eric is able to ensure optimal performance across the organization and industry due to his experience and extensive knowledge of information technology, customer service management, and product development.
Vikas Nayar, Senior Vice President, IT Operations
Vikas joined the ACTIVE Network team in 2016. He oversees all IT operations with the goal of increasing efficiencies, decreasing expenses, and developing new strategies to remain at the forefront of technology.
Mike Bowman, Vice President, Client Services
Mike joined the ACTIVE Network team from ECSI, another company under the Global Payments vertical markets umbrella. He oversees the support, professional services, technical support, and account management teams and is committed to designing positive customer experiences.

Kevin joined the ACTIVE Network team from ECSI, another company under the Global Payments vertical markets umbrella. He brings a unique perspective when working with teams, clients and prospects, due to his experience across all industries. He works to ensure smooth relationships and positive sales experiences.

Derek transitioned to the ACTIVE Network team from TeamPages, bringing over 15 years of experience in product management and business development. He is known for driving innovation, delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations, and leading cross-functional teams through product development from concept to launch, aligning with business goals and user needs.
Christina Weitzel, Senior Director, Marketing
Christina joined the ACTIVE Network team from ECSI, another company under the Global Payments vertical markets umbrella. She has over 16 years of experience leading marketing teams, aligning marketing and sales goals, and delivering exceptional results.
Nick Stevens, Senior Director, Product Management
Nick joined the ACTIVE Network team in 2007 through the acquisition of RegOnline. Throughout his tenure, he has held a variety of roles spanning numerous product lines, business functions, and geographical regions. His extensive experience across different facets of the business enables him to apply a comprehensive perspective when formulating product and market strategies.
