Kids are full of an endless amount of energy that can oftentimes be hard to corral and redirect. Adults left in their wake become exhausted, frustrated and defeated, which can lead to less-than-optimal recourse.
So what is an adult or teacher to do? Let the children run wild until they eventually wear themselves out into a tired stupor? Bore them with traditional exercises like jumping jacks and burpees? Short-term, these might sound like good ideas, but in the long run, those aren’t viable solutions. Kids need to be stimulated both mentally and physically. Marrying the two can produce great results for both adults and kids alike. Gamifying and innovating exercises that keep children’s minds and bodies engaged can be somewhat of a challenge, but we have a few ideas that will do exactly that!
